In the Loop

These informal surveys are meant to create a feedback loop. The Web is touted for its interactivity and these surveys are one of the major techniques. You have to be very careful when you make inferences from the results of these surveys. However, as a way to frame a discussion, observe trends, or order talking points, they can provide quick and easy information. They can also provide feedback you would never get orally.

As used here, a loop is a collection of survey questions and responses. For example, the loop titled "MBA 600 First Night MW" collects feedback from the students. This loop has four questions. The questions are all multiple choice. Anyone may add a response. In addition, anyone may add a question and set of responses.
